The National Cultural Foundation (NCF), in partnership with the Barbados Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BCCI), is proud to announce two special Bridgetown Days on Saturday, August 23 and Saturday, August 30, during the region’s premier cultural festival, CARIFESTA XV.

These Bridgetown Days are designed to draw festival delegates, locals, and visitors into the heart of the capital to experience the unique blend of commerce and culture that Bridgetown offers. Businesses will feature exclusive discounts, promotions, and special offers, while the streets of the UNESCO World Heritage Site will come alive with the vibrancy of the festival.

“Bridgetown Days are a celebration of our capital city and an invitation for everyone to explore its shops, restaurants, cultural landmarks, and hidden gems,” said CARIFESTA XV Artistic Lead Michelle Cox. “We want to showcase the best of Bridgetown, giving our people and visitors opportunities to experience both the creativity of CARIFESTA and the entrepreneurial spirit of our business community.”

The initiative reflects a strong public-private partnership between the NCF and the BCCI, reinforcing their shared commitment to making CARIFESTA XV a truly inclusive, accessible, and economically beneficial event.

“Bridgetown is not just a commercial hub; it is a cultural and historical treasure,” said BCCI’s Senior Vice-President Paul Ashby. “The BCCI is excited to work alongside the NCF to ensure businesses play a key role in welcoming delegates and visitors, while also creating opportunities for economic activity during this major festival.”
